HOME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Singapore Zhicheng Student Hostel was founded by Mr Tan Check Peng in the mid-1970s. Today, it has become a choice hostel for international students who come to Singapore to pursue their studies, catering not only to their daily needs, but also taking good care of their studies and health. In short, Zhicheng has virtually become a “home away from home” for all our international students with the complete range of quality services it offers.
In a home-like environment, our hostel staff constantly seek to improve the academic standard of our students through effective counselling and care-giving. Not only that, we also strive to cultivate a healthy lifestyle among them and, by laying emphasis on good conduct and traditional values, we endeavour to ensure that they grow up in an environment of good morals and values. OUR SERVICES
ONE-STOP SOLUTION
We assist students in many ways during their study life in Singapore, including school placement, accommodation, academic needs, daily necessities, health requirements, character moulding, etc. In short, all matters concerning their study life here are well looked after.
STRICT SUPERVISION
Strict supervision is enforced in our hostels to ensure discipline in such areas as the use of computers and broadband internet, maintenance of high standard of hygiene and cleanliness for all personal cabinets, living areas, air-conditioned rooms, etc.
STUDENT CARE
Our staff to student ratio is 1:5, which ensures that medical attention is given immediately in case of emergency and that counselling is readily available where necessary. Our stay-in housekeepers also ensure round-the-clock assistance is available for our students.
